The homeless were not forgotten
On Christmas Eve, the Khalisha Hope Charitable Organisation visited Reading Town Centre to share love, kindness, and compassion with members of the homeless community during the festive season.
As a season often centred on family, warmth, and celebration, we wanted to ensure that those experiencing homelessness were not forgotten. Our team distributed hot food, hot drinks, bottled water, and juice, offering not only nourishment but also a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Beyond the meals, the outreach was about human connection — taking time to listen, share smiles, and spread encouragement during a time of year that can be especially difficult for those without stable housing.
This Christmas Eve outreach reflects the heart of the Khalisha Hope Charitable Organisation: serving with compassion, restoring dignity, and spreading hope to those most in need. We are grateful to everyone who supports our mission and helps make moments like this possible.
Together, we can continue to make a difference — not just during the festive season, but all year round.
